Carducci Music Trust
Inspiring audiences and musicians for the future
The Carducci Music Trust is a charity which supports the work of the Carducci Quartet with schools and young musicians, and their annual Festival at Highnam. Established by the Carducci Quartet in 2009 to support its passion for music education, the Trust has raised more than £200.000 to date to fund projects with young people including music workshops in schools and coaching with young musicians, and to support the Carducci Festival.

Carducci Friends and Patrons are individuals who have chosen to form a closer link with the Quartet by supporting the work funded by the Carducci Music Trust. Friends and Patrons benefit from the opportunity to meet the Quartet at receptions and events, as well as a priority booking period for the Carducci Festival at Highnam.
Friend Membership: £35 (individual); £50 couple or family
Young Friend Membership: £5
Patron Membership: £200 or more
Gold Patron Membership: £500 or more
Since 2009 Carducci Friends and Patrons have helped the Carducci Quartet perform live to thousands of schoolchildren, as well as funding our work supporting and encouraging young musicians. In addition they have enabled the Carducci Festival at Highnam to keep its ticket prices low and to extend the Cavatina Trust’s free ticket offer to all students and children.
Alongside the Friends and Patrons scheme, we are delighted that a number of audience members have chosen to support the work of the Quartet by directly funding workshops, masterclasses and new commissions.
The Carducci Music Trust has also received recent grants from the Arts Council England, Summerfield Trust, Foyle Foundation, Honourable Company of Gloucestershire, Concordia Foundation and Cotswold Primrose Trust.
